Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant's stellar performance against the Houston Rockets.

Kevin Durant was the driving force behind the Phoenix Suns' 129-113 blowout win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night, ending a three-game losing streak. It wasn't just his scoring that made the difference, but his rebounding and trust in his teammates.

Durant posted a dazzling triple-double - 27 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists. This impressive performance showcased his ability to adapt to defensive pressure and find open teammates. He embraced his role as an assist man and proved that his skills are not limited to scoring.

"People only know me as a scorer," Durant said after the game. But I'm an intangible [and] good teammate. I can do other things on the basketball court.

The Suns may not have been perfect, with 19 turnovers as a team, but they relied on Durant and Devin Booker to take control. Durant explained, "Our game plan was simple, just give the ball to Booker and I and see what their defense does. That approach proved to be effective, allowing the two to dominate the offense.

Booker had 20 points, four rebounds and two steals, complementing Durant's scoring while effectively converting the passes he received. However, Eric Gordon was the player who really thrived under Durant's "spell." Gordon shot 10-of-15 from the field, including 7-of-11 from three-point range. He also contributed one assist and three caps.

Grayson Allen, fresh off a big Christmas Day game against the Mavericks, continued his impressive play in Bradley Beal's absence, contributing 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and one cap.

The Suns' renewed focus and sense of urgency was evident, with Durant saying, "Everybody went out there with a sense of urgency, we wanted to end the little skid we had before, and it showed in everybody's attitude."

While Jusuf Nurkic didn't contribute much on the offensive end, scoring just eight points, Durant praised him for blocking shots for the team and allowing the shooters to find a rhythm.

The win was a reminder of Durant's versatility and leadership. When he utilizes his playmaking skills and trusts his teammates, the Suns can be a force to be reckoned with. The win also instills much-needed confidence in the team as they try to climb up the standings.
