Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson lead Nets in comeback win over Suns

The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Phoenix Suns 116-112 in last night's NBA game. Michael Bridges and Cameron Johnson scored 21 and 15 points respectively to lead the Nets to victory. The game also marked the debut of the Suns' Big Three, but they ended up losing.

Mikal Bridges scored 21 points and Cameron Johnson had 15 to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 116-112 thrashing of the Suns, spoiling the debut of the Suns' All-Star trio.

The Nets, who have won seven of their last nine games, got 24 points from Cam Thomas to lead the Brooklyn Nets to victory.

The Suns trailed by eight at intermission but led 88-86 entering the fourth quarter. The game stayed close in the final quarter, but the Nets took the lead with about 10 minutes left in the game and never gave it up.

Spencer Dinwiddie hit a 3-pointer with 1:54 left in the game to give the Bucks a 112-106 lead. He scored a layup on his team's next possession for all 16 points.

The Suns tied the game at 114-112 with 28 seconds to play, but Thomas hit two free throws with three seconds to play to seal the win. Thomas scored 10 points in the fourth quarter.

In another NBA game, the Houston Rockets beat the Memphis Grizzlies 117-104, with Tarry Essien scoring a career-high 25 points and Jabari Smith Jr. contributing 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Rockets extended their home winning streak to 11 games.

Essien shot 10-of-16 from the field and had a career-high 14 rebounds.

The Houston Rockets' bench outscored the Grizzlies' bench 58-19.
